Pathein (Bassein)

Pathein - (ပုသိမ္) - also known as Bassein, situated in the Ayeyawady Delta about 190 km west of Yangon. Pathein, capital of the Ayeyarwady Division of Myanmar's delta region is noted for the taste of its speciality Pathein Halawar and well-known for its Pathein umbrella.
